Featuring interviews with community leaders from across the country along with Vick’s own reflections and anecdotes, Soul Consciousness explores how greater spirituality and a shared sense of humanity can fuel real change and has been praised by Harvard University’s Roberto G. Gonzales as “required reading for youth workers,… policy makers, elected officials, and anyone who cares about families and communities.” Vick will be joined in conversation by Miller (they/them) – a change agent featured in the book – and following their talk, attendees can participate in a discussion with other community leaders profiled by Vick. Copies of Soul Consciousness will also be available to purchase.
